 As parents with young children, we got tired of saying "no" when our kids asked for our phones. Then when Apple came out with the iPhone, we realized that we could stop saying "no." Even better, we realized that the iPhone's touch interface would allow our kids to do some really cool stuff, if only the right software was available. When Apple went on to open up the iPhone to software development, we founded Learning Touch and started building that software. Our goal is to create the highest quality games for toddlers, running on the iPhone and iPod Touch. We are making games that are fun and smart, that are entertaining and educational. We are making games that let kids explore, games where there are no wrong moves, but where the right move will reveal, reward, and teach. You can play Learning Touch games alongside your toddler, and we hope you do. Say the names of the letters out loud. Tell stories about the animals. But there are also times when your child will want to play by themselves, or when you'll want a break. A television might keep your child occupied, but Learning Touch games will keep them engaged and involved. We've just started this journey. We're excited to release our first title, FirstWords: Animals. But we also know that there's so much more to do. We've just begun to tap the potential of this new user interface, this little hand-held learning book that lets the littlest kids play with the whole world.
